About The Position

The Host/Hostess is the first point of contact for customers, creating a warm, welcoming, and efficient shopping experience. You’ll assist customers with product questions, recommendations, and service bar orders across departments such as Bakery, BBQ, Coffee, Deli, Demo, Fish, Ice Cream, Meat, and Produce.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older
Entry-level position: no prior experience required (training provided)
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to safely use tools and equipment required for the role
Availability to work weekends and holidays
Positive, friendly, and approachable attitude
Strong work ethic and reliability
Self-motivated and able to handle a fast-paced environment
Honest, flexible, and a problem solver
Team player who supports positive customer experience

Responsibilities

Greet every customer with a friendly smile and positive attitude
Answer questions and provide product recommendations
Ensure customers receive accurate weighing, pricing, and packaging at service bars
Keep work areas clean, organized, and fully stocked
Adhere to all health, sanitation, and safety regulations
Assist other team members and departments as needed
Verify all products are properly labeled with the correct item and production date for customer safety
Help create a smooth, efficient workflow across service areas
Communicate effectively with team members and department leaders
