Seasonal Coffee Host
About The Position
Stew Leonard’s, a family-owned and operated fresh food store founded in 1969, has locations in Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey. Stew’s earned its nickname, the “Disneyland of Dairy Stores” because of its country-fair atmosphere, with costumed characters and animated entertainment throughout the store that keep children entertained while parents shop. This position is for a Host/Hostess in the Coffee Department, interacting directly with customers at the service bars. You will provide assistance by answering product questions, offering recommendations, weighing and pricing product ordered by customers.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years and older
- Safely use tools and equipment used in the daily operation of department
- Great customer service

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and answering questions
- Selecting, packaging, and pricing products ordered by customers at the service bar
- Clean equipment
- Operate cash register and receive payment in various forms (Coffee and Ice cream only)
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all health, sanitation, and safety regulations while preparing and serving products.
- Assist in maintaining and restocking cases
- Assist in other duties, as assigned
