About The Position

Lake Country Co-op is seeking to fill three part-time Seasonal Clerk/Cashier positions at our Food Store in Emma Lake, Saskatchewan. This role is for the period of May 4 to October 10, 2026. Requirements

Must be 19 years of age or older.
Familiarity with Food Safe procedures and practices.
Attentive to detail and strong cash management skills.
Willing and able to obtain Serve It Right, WHMIS, and propane dispensing certifications.
Ability to fulfill physical job requirements, including standing, performing regular heavy lifting, and working in cooler temperatures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
Flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

General knowledge of food and liquor store operations are considered assets.
Honest and trustworthy.
Results-oriented.
Well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production with a minimum amount of supervision.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate behaviors and actions that support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles, with a strong customer-focused approach.
Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
Maintain a safe and efficient area while adhering to company policies, procedures, and standards in social responsibility and the selling of age-restricted items (wine, spirits, beer, tobacco, and lottery).
Serve guests, operate point-of-sale system (POS), dispense propane when required, stock and face shelves, and perform general housekeeping duties.
Monitor code dates to ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf; follow FIFO.
Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
