Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of part-time Bakery Clerk at our Food Store location in La Ronge, Saskatchewan. Lake Country Co-op does business differently. Requirements

You have previous experience in retail bakery operations is an asset.
You are honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented, and are proud of the work that you do.
You are well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision.
You are familiar with Food Safe procedures and practices.
You have the ability to fulfill physical job requirements, heavy lifting, repetitive movements, standing entire shift.
You have a flexible work schedule; weekend and evening work is required.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
Prepare products to Lake Country Co-op standards, package and label finished products, maintain production records.
Ensure to keep a clean and well-maintained department.
Maintain and display all types of bakery products according to department standards.
Monitor code dates to always ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf; follow First in, first out (FIFO).
Take cake orders and cake writing as required.
Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
