Seasonal Camp Counselor, Casey Farm
About The Position
Historic New England's Casey Farm is looking for a seasonal Summer Camp Counselor to assist in running summer programs. Responsibilities include monitoring children, facilitating games and activities, singing songs, opening and closing buildings, setting up and breaking down program equipment, and creating crafts. This role requires working outdoors in various weather conditions to deliver engaging, hands-on activities for campers aged 4-12. The camp day is from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with staff working from 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM. Training, including CPR/First Aid certification, will occur the week of June 24.
Requirements
- Experience in at least one of the following categories: camp, childcare, education, history, agriculture or environmental science
- Must be at least nineteen years old
- Must have completed one year of college
