About The Position
Blair Hill Inn / Slate Restaurant is searching for an experienced fine dining bartender and server who would enjoy working in an exciting, fast-paced environment with an amazing team and beautiful view each night. In order to succeed as a bartender, you should be observant and have the ability to think critically and efficiently. You should be a skilled communicator with excellent guest services skills.
Requirements
- Fine dining restaurant/bartender/server experience
- Working knowledge of wine and ability to perform wine service table side
- Excellent customer service skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work during peak hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to walk, stand, and occasionally carry heavy items in a fast-paced, stressful environment
Responsibilities
- Perform fine dining bartending duties.
- Perform fine dining serving duties.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Work during peak hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Walk, stand, and occasionally carry heavy items in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
Benefits
- $20/hr plus tips for bartending shifts
- Tip minimum plus tips
- Shared housing available for $150/wk
