About The Position
The Berkeley City Club is seeking a warm and welcoming "people person" who loves to provide patrons with a high level of service. The Fine Dining Server will have a friendly and professional demeanor, the ability to multi-task while maintaining composure, and a flexible schedule. The Berkeley City Club is a historic hotel, event space, restaurant and bar, and social club, originally opened in 1930. It is one of the City of Berkeley’s historical landmarks conveniently located in the Southside district, just one block from the UC Berkeley Campus.
Requirements
- Understands the level of service required for a fine dining establishment.
- Open and willing to work in a multicultural environment.
- Highly organized with the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and team members.
- Great communicator with high attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new tasks.
- Proficient in POS systems.
- Minimum of two years of fine dining experience.
- High School diploma.
- Open/flexible schedule, including weekends.
