About The Position

The Seasonal Bakery Associate is an entry-level role at Kowalski’s Shoreview Market & Wine Shop. Associates help prepare and handle delicate and savory baked goods, maintain product quality and food safety, and provide courteous customer service. The role involves building respectful relationships with coworkers and customers through clear communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. Associates are expected to manage time effectively, work independently, fill and rotate products, and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards. No experience is required; Kowalski’s provides extensive in-person, hands-on training in safe, quick, and efficient work practices. The seasonal position runs from November through early January.

Requirements

No prior experience is required.
Available to be scheduled up to 30 hours per week year-round.
Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
Ensure food quality and safety.
Comfortable speaking with customers in an energetic and helpful manner.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Ability to work independently.
Interest in preparing and handling food.
