About The Position

Vala's is a family-owned and operated fall festival located in Gretna, Nebraska, open for 45 to 55 days a year. It is a cherished fall tradition for many families in the surrounding communities. The property spans over 400 acres and features more than 50 attractions, including pick-your-own pumpkins, apples, and flowers, along with over 25 food locations. Vala's mission is to bring happiness to the world by creating a place where magical memories are shared between families and friends.

Requirements

Ability to monitor and provide instructions to guests
Ability to perform all safety checks prior to attraction use
Ability to monitor the attraction, following all safety and operational procedures
Interacts with guests in a friendly manner at all times
Works well in a fast paced, team environment
Ability to work in variable weather conditions
Ability to walk or stand on variable surfaces, including sand, mulch, concrete, or steel platforms
Ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, climb, twist, and reach for extended periods
Ability to move 25 lbs

Responsibilities

Monitoring attractions on the farm, including pedal carts, big slide ride, jumping pillows, and Slide Mountain.
Providing instructions to guests.
Performing all safety checks prior to attraction use.
Monitoring the attraction, following all safety and operational procedures.
Interacting with guests in a friendly manner at all times.
Working in a fast-paced, team environment.
Working in variable weather conditions.
Walking or standing on variable surfaces, including sand, mulch, concrete, or steel platforms.
Standing, walking, lifting, carrying, bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, climbing, twisting, and reaching for extended periods.
Moving 25 lbs.
