About The Position

As a Seasonal Associate, you will represent the Carter’s brand and help families with their shopping needs throughout their parenting journey. You will welcome customers, assist them with product information, support a positive shopping experience across channels, process transactions, replenish merchandise, and help maintain a safe and clean store. The role is seasonal and involves working in a busy retail environment. Requirements

• A positive, solutions-oriented mindset.
• Demonstrated customer service and customer engagement skills.
• Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
• Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly and assist with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and assist multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Assist with omnichannel needs to support a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale and register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
