About The Position

As a Seasonal Associate, you will be the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families. You will welcome customers, introduce them to baby essentials, and help them find products for important moments in their parenting journey. The role is based in a welcoming and inclusive environment that values employees’ skills and talents. The position requires providing customer assistance in a busy retail environment, supporting omnichannel shopping, processing sales, replenishing merchandise, and helping maintain a safe and clean store. Availability may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. This is a seasonal position. Compensation ranges from $14.50 to $16.50 per hour, based on experience and location.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed and frequently bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and assist with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and assist multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Assist with omnichannel services as needed to support a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale/register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
