About The Position

As a Seasonal Associate, you are the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families. You welcome customers and help them find products for parenting milestones, from baby essentials to back-to-school needs. You work in a welcoming and inclusive retail environment, supporting customers and the store team while contributing to a positive shopping experience. Requirements

• Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed and frequently bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
• Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly and assist with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and assist multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Assist with omnichannel services as needed to meet customer needs and support a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale/register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
