Uniform for Kids Seasonal Associate

Particular Council of St. Vincent de Paul of Baton Rouge, LouisianaBaton Rouge, LA
Onsite

About The Position

The Uniform for Kids Seasonal Associate supports our annual school uniform distribution program so children can start the year with confidence and dignity. You’ll help the Uniform for Kids Coordinator keep product moving smoothly from receipt to distribution, while protecting inventory accuracy and quality. Key responsibilities include receiving and organizing uniforms; stocking and pulling sizes; assisting with distribution to families and partners; maintaining accurate counts and records; and providing professional, compassionate service to families, volunteers, and community partners. Apply if you want purpose-driven work that helps make a difference in our community impact. A Day in Season You’ll arrive to a busy, warehouse-style space where priorities shift quickly during peak weeks. The morning often starts by checking what came in overnight, then moving between racks, tables, and staging areas to keep sizes easy to find. Throughout the day, you’ll greet families and volunteers, answer quick questions, and help keep the flow calm and welcoming. You’ll pause to verify counts, note discrepancies, and adjust as new deliveries or partner requests come in. By day’s end, you’ll reset the space for the next wave—leaving the program ready to serve more neighbors tomorrow.
