About The Position

As a Seasonal Associate, you are the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families. You welcome customers and assist them with products for babies, children, and families in a welcoming and inclusive retail environment. The role includes helping customers find products, resolving issues, supporting omnichannel shopping, handling register transactions, replenishing the sales floor, and promoting current offers and the brand loyalty program. Seasonal Associates help maintain a safe, clean store and minimize store loss through exceptional customer service. Availability may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. The position pays $15.50–$17.75 per hour, based on experience and location.

Requirements

• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
• Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and serve multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Assist with omnichannel needs to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale/register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
