About The Position

As a Seasonal Associate, you are the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families. You welcome customers, help them find products for babies and children, and support families through important parenting milestones. You work in a welcoming and inclusive retail environment and contribute to positive customer experiences in a busy store.

Requirements

• Positive, solutions-oriented mindset.
• Demonstrated customer service and customer engagement skills.
• Effective, professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
• Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and assist them with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and assist multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Support omnichannel shopping as needed to meet customer needs and provide a positive experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale and register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotions and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss through exceptional customer service and by maintaining a safe, clean store.
