Seasonal Associate
About The Position
As a Seasonal Associate, you will be the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families. You will welcome customers and help them find products for babies, children, and parenting milestones in a welcoming and inclusive retail environment. Carter’s is a North American apparel retailer for babies and young children, with the Carter’s, OshKosh B’gosh, SkipHop, and Little Planet brands. The company emphasizes quality, teamwork, flexibility, growth, and training and development. This role involves customer service, sales support, register transactions, store replenishment, and maintaining a safe and clean store. The schedule may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays. The position is seasonal, and compensation ranges from $15.50 to $17.75 per hour based on experience and location.
Requirements
- Positive, solutions-oriented mindset.

- Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
- Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and assist them with product styles, features, and benefits.
- Proactively resolve customer issues and manage multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
- Assist with omnichannel needs to support a positive shopping experience.
- Complete and expedite point-of-sale/register transactions.
- Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
- Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
- Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
