About The Position

As a Seasonal Associate, you will represent Carter’s to growing families, helping customers find baby essentials, children’s clothing, and products for important family moments. You will work in a welcoming and inclusive retail environment and support customers throughout their shopping experience. The role includes customer service, sales-floor and shipment tasks, and point-of-sale transactions. Seasonal employment is available for a season, with opportunities to build skills and grow at Carter’s.

Requirements

• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
• Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and assist them with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and assist multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Assist with omnichannel needs to support a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale/register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
