About The Position

Johnny's is currently hiring a Seasonal Associate I - Operations for the Evening Shift. This role will mainly involve work in the Seed Packing department but will also require cross-training in the Shipping and Warehouse departments as needed to support business operations. The ideal candidate will be motivated and possess excellent organizational skills. This is a seasonal business, so hours may change during peak times. The usual hours for the Evening Shift are Monday through Friday, from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm. During the busiest period, overtime will be required. Starting pay for the Evening Shift is $19.51 per hour ($17.51/hr base rate plus $2.00/hr differential pay for working evening hours).

Requirements

Familiarity with converting ounces/pounds to grams is also necessary.

Responsibilities

Pack seed into both commercial and consumer sizes using various hand or mechanical tools available.
Assemble kits and products.
Process bulk seed orders for commercial purposes, weighing between 50 and 70 pounds.
Locate incoming materials in different stockrooms.
Find items using inventory systems.
Reorganize materials, shrink-wrap, and label.
Assist the receiver with sampling, labeling, or receiving.
Support cycle counters with locating and weighing.
Report any issues or shortages to your supervisor or lead.
Support daily order shipments by gathering, checking, packing, shipping, stocking, and performing other duties as needed.
Use handheld devices for accurate inventory picking and tracking.
Prepare inventory for the shipping department.
Maintain a balanced work environment by working efficiently and accurately while keeping the workspace clean and safe.
