Position Summary

Requirements

Available to work daytime, evening, and weekend shifts
Position begins mid-May and concludes in September, dates negotiable
Must be able to routinely carry 25lbs and up to 50lbs
Must be committed to our organizational values of compassion, respect, and kindness, innovation, professionalism, equity, and positive approach
Ability to partner with clients, staff, and volunteers from diverse backgrounds
Ability to manage assigned personal schedule and timecard

Nice To Haves

Prior client services and animal experience a plus
Bilingual applicants are strongly encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

Commit to a welcoming, supportive, and non-judgmental approach with all clients, callers, and coworkers
Help animals find new homes via our same-day adoption process
Support client questions in person, by phone, and via email
Process register transactions and support customers with products in retail store
Maintain accurate and objective records in our animal management software
Work cooperatively within your own department and cross departmentally
Other duties as assigned
