Supervise patron use of fitness facilities; referee intra-mural sports; or provide athletic training services to intercollegiate competitions. Requirements

  • Entry-Level (Foundational) Work Experience
  • Suitable for students with basic foundational knowledge and little to no practical experience, ideal for freshmen or sophomores who have completed only introductory courses.
  • Lower Division Courses Completed
  • Form I-9 to verify eligibility to work in the U.S. (must bring actual document, no photocopies allowed)

Responsibilities

  • Officiate at sporting events, games, or competitions, to maintain standards of play and to ensure that game rules are observed.
  • Evaluate individuals' abilities, needs, and physical conditions, and develop suitable training programs to meet any special requirements.
  • Monitor patrons' facility use to ensure that rules and regulations are followed, and safety and order are maintained.
  • Provide care and treatment to correct or prevent athletic injuries.
  • Clean and maintain fitness and athletic facilities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
