About The Position

The Search Recruiter generates candidates for specific positions while developing assessment skills for matching candidates to client criteria and offerings. The role sources, screens, and qualifies candidates for priority Search and Consulting searches, as well as additional retained and contingency searches. It also assesses provider needs and interests, generates leads for Consultants, and determines whether to continue contact with a provider or refer the provider to a Consultant. The recruiter documents candidate interest in other VISTA divisions and supports quality standards through effective sourcing and screening. Success is demonstrated through candidate progression in the recruitment process, including turnovers, client presentations, interviews, and placements. The role requires timely follow-up on leads, proficiency with VISTA’s app and sourcing and planning processes, and may include other assigned duties and special projects.

Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of customer service experience is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn proprietary software.
Ability and willingness to cover interim staffing gaps.
Willingness to expand knowledge of the locum tenens business and stay informed about market and competitive issues through research and professional networking.
Willingness to take classes and participate in learning opportunities inside and outside the company.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to take direction and complete tasks efficiently and in a timely manner.
Excellent computer and typing skills for data entry.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong research skills.
Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly and adapt to workplace changes.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to understand and meet performance metrics.
Ability to manage time, organize work, and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
High school diploma preferred; an associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

Source, screen, and qualify candidates based on fundamental criteria for priority Search and Consulting searches, as well as retained and contingency searches.
Consistently source candidates for specific positions.
Generate quality leads for Consultants.
Complete initial in-depth needs assessments to determine providers’ needs and preferences.
Use appropriate available sourcing resources effectively.
Determine whether to maintain contact with a provider or refer the provider to a Consultant for follow-up.
Document candidates’ early interest in other VISTA divisions and forward information as appropriate.
Meet quality standards, as reflected in candidate progression through the recruitment process, including turnovers, client presentations, interviews, and placements.
Demonstrate proficiency in urgency, communication, the VISTA App, sourcing, and strategic planning.
Follow up on leads within 24 hours.
Assist with special projects as directed and perform other assigned duties.
