About The Position

The Seafood Lead is an hourly employee who leads the Seafood Section and is responsible for its day-to-day operation. The role provides direct customer service and works with helpers assigned to the section. Familiarity with seafood merchandise is preferred but not required. Candidates must be available to be scheduled for 35 or more hours per week, including nights and weekends, based on department needs. The position requires customer-relations skills, the ability to work with minimal supervision, a genuine interest in seafood merchandise, and reliability.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the Seafood Section.
• Provide direct customer service and maintain customer relations.
• Receive, price, merchandise, stock, and rotate seafood merchandise.
• Provide consumer education and suggestive selling.
• Organize the cooler and maintain housekeeping and sanitation.
• Work with helpers assigned to the section.
• Perform related activities as required or assigned.
