About The Position

This role involves providing friendly and courteous service to customers, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the seafood department, preparing and handling seafood products, and engaging in suggestive selling. The position requires adherence to safety and sanitation procedures, working in a cold environment, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds. Training will be provided at the store level.

• Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline)
• Manager approval based on performance if invited for an interview

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
• Maintain cleanliness of work area, equipment, seafood cases, and backroom
• Prepare product for cases
• Pull product from cases for proper storage at closing
• Handle live seafood
• Prepare party trays and selected seafood
• Suggestive selling and sampling products for customers
• Cook-fry and steam product for customers
• Perform other duties as assigned by store management
