About The Position

This position involves providing friendly and courteous service to customers, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment, preparing seafood products for display and sale, and handling live seafood. The role also includes preparing party trays, suggestive selling, sampling products, and cooking/steaming seafood for customers. Training will be provided at the store level.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older to apply
• Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job
• Must be able to work in a cold, damp environment
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds
• Must be able to work on feet entire shift (4-8 hours)

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred for Store/Facility Teammates
• Minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred for Store Support Center Teammates
• Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline)
• Manager approval based on performance if invited for an interview

Responsibilities

• Pull product from cases for proper storage at closing
• Handle live seafood
• Prepare party trays and selected seafood
• Suggestive selling and sampling products for customers
• Cook-fry and steam product for customers
