Key duties include arranging iced displays, weighing and packaging products, ensuring strict food safety standards, and providing cooking recommendations to customers. The role involves working in cold, wet environments and routinely lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist shoppers with selections, handle special orders (e.g., shrimp platters), and offer suggestive selling and cooking tips.
• Set up and maintain attractive iced displays, unpack frozen inventory, and ensure cases are fully stocked and properly rotated to avoid spoilage.
• Strictly adhere to health and safety codes, wash and sanitize equipment (cutters, scales, and prep stations), and ensure proper handling temperatures.
• Receive and unload deliveries, weigh, scale, and label items for retail sale, and fulfill customer requests like scaling or fileting.
