We are looking for a highly experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) who can independently design and build an end-to-end test automation framework from scratch. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Automation, Selenium, Playwright, and Java, and will play a key role in defining testing standards and ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Requirements

  • Proven experience building automation frameworks from scratch independently
  • Strong experience in Test Automation concepts and methodologies
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright
  • Strong programming skills in Java
  • Experience with test frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or similar
  • Experience testing web-based applications
  • Understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, etc.)
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement automation frameworks from scratch with minimal guidance
  • Own the architecture, tool selection, and best practices for automation solutions
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Playwright
  • Write clean, reusable, and scalable automation code using Java
  • Establish automation standards, coding guidelines, and reporting mechanisms
  • Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines
  • Execute functional, regression, smoke, and integration tests
  • Analyze test failures, log defects, and collaborate closely with development teams
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices
  • Continuously enhance framework performance, reliability, and coverage
