About The Position

Knightscope is seeking an SDET to take ownership of the CI/CD pipeline and test infrastructure for the Signals team. This is a critical role as the company insources this function from a third-party vendor. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the pipeline and test environments, ensuring fast, reliable, and observable build and test cycles. This role requires a strong background in CI/CD engineering and a proven ability to operate pipelines as products with defined SLOs and observability.

Requirements

6+ years in test infrastructure or CI/CD engineering, including production pipeline ownership.
Deep hands-on experience with modern CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent).
Containerized build environments and test orchestration at scale.
Track record operating pipelines as products, with real SLOs and observability.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience insourcing infrastructure from a third-party vendor.
Video or streaming platform CI/CD experience.
Multi-team platform work supporting several product lines from one pipeline.

Responsibilities

Own the Signals CI/CD pipeline and test infrastructure end to end.
Design and execute handoff of pipeline components from the current vendor.
Build fast, reliable, observable build and test cycles.
Partner with Engineering Services on shared pipeline standards across programs.
Establish pipeline health metrics and an on-call rotation for build infrastructure.
