This position provides direct patient care to patients in the Surgical Cardiovascular Unit (SCU). The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. The nurse will also be responsible for patient and family education, managing nutritional and fluid/electrolyte needs, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. Additionally, the role involves addressing psychosocial, cultural, ethnic, and spiritual needs, and maintaining patient confidentiality. The nurse will care for patients in the post-anesthesia period and adhere to the hospital's ethics and compliance program.
