About The Position

We are seeking a Scrum Master to support the Workday Nexus / Workday Wellness team within the Group Analytics Platform (GAP) Agile Release Train. This role supports a high‑visibility, integration‑heavy platform connecting Workday with enterprise systems, external gateways, and data platforms. The ideal candidate is a delivery‑focused servant leader who goes beyond ceremony facilitation to actively manage dependencies, remove impediments, and drive disciplined execution across application, data, environment, and platform teams.

Requirements

7+ years of Agile delivery experience
3+ years as a Scrum Master
Hands‑on experience in a SAFe® Agile Release Train
Proven ability to manage cross‑team and external dependencies
Strong facilitation, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills
Experience with JIRA and Confluence

Nice To Haves

SAFe® Scrum Master (SSM) or SAFe® Agilist certification
Experience with integration‑heavy platforms (APIs, external systems, data pipelines)
Exposure to Workday integrations, HR/Benefits platforms, or enterprise gateways
Experience working with distributed/onshore‑offshore teams

Responsibilities

Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand‑ups, Reviews, Retrospectives) with focus on outcomes
Ensure consistent application of Agile and SAFe® practices
Coach teams on self‑organization, accountability, and continuous improvement
Prepare team for PI Planning with clear backlog readiness and dependencies
Support PI breakout sessions and ensure realistic sprint/PI commitments
Track sprint and PI progress; surface risks early and drive corrective actions
Proactively identify and manage dependencies across: External Partner (Workday), Application and API teams, Data and database teams, Environment, DevOps, security, and external gateway teams
Remove blockers and escalate impediments through ART governance as needed
Shield the team from unplanned work and late scope changes
Support delivery of integration‑heavy capabilities, including: Inbound and outbound APIs, External gateway integrations, Notifications, subscriptions, and profile services
Ensure sprint commitments account for external dependencies and environment readiness
Coordinate execution across onshore/offshore teams and vendors
Track and report Agile metrics (velocity, predictability, quality trends) using JIRA
Ensure sprint commitments are measurable and delivery is transparent
Partner with Product Owner and RTE on delivery visibility and governance
Act as a key delivery contact for Product Owners, leadership, and partner teams
Communicate risks, status, and blockers clearly and professionally
Support onboarding, ways‑of‑working alignment, and continuous improvement initiatives
