Scrum Master – Agile Software Delivery
About The Position
Concept Solutions, LLC (CS) is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support a mission-critical application modernization program for a Department of War (DoW) customer. This program focuses on modernizing and simplifying access across a portfolio of production applications by establishing a unified sign-on experience, a shared work surface, and a repeatable approach for integrating applications into a common platform. The team will simultaneously sustain existing applications while advancing modernization efforts. The Scrum Master will facilitate Agile delivery across modernization and sustainment workstreams, coordinate sprint activities, maintain program schedules, track milestones, and help ensure teams remain aligned with customer expectations and delivery commitments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Delivery Lead supporting Agile software development teams.
- Experience supporting Federal government programs with phase-gated acceptance requirements.
- Expert-level proficiency with Jira and Confluence for Agile delivery coordination, tracking, and documentation.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and directly with technical teams and program stakeholders.
- U.S. citizenship required.
Nice To Haves
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Active Secret security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives across modernization and sustainment workstreams.
- Maintain a consistent sprint demonstration cadence, ensuring teams are prepared to showcase progress and deliverables to the customer.
- Maintain the integrated program schedule, track milestone progress, and monitor readiness for phase-exit reviews and acceptance.
- Manage and maintain the issue register in Jira, ensuring accurate tracking, documentation, and follow-through.
- Coordinate milestone reports and monthly program status reports in collaboration with the Program Manager.
- Facilitate clear communication of delivery progress, milestones, and issues across program stakeholders.
