About The Position

Alpha Omega is searching for an experienced Scrum Master to join one of our long-term Federal projects. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the project, leading a team on large projects or significant segments of large and complex projects. The Scrum Master will analyze new and complex project-related problems and create innovative solutions, provide applications systems analysis, and develop long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, systems maintenance, and production activities. A key aspect of this role is ensuring adherence to agile methodologies, Lean-Agile principles, and the SAFe framework, while facilitating effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders. The Scrum Master will also coach and mentor team members on agile practices and principles, manage and resolve conflicts, and utilize Agile and project management tools such as Azure DevOps to track progress and facilitate collaboration.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role, plus 4-5 years of professional experience.
  • Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, Lean-Agile principles, and the SAFe framework.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Experience in managing and resolving conflicts.
  • Proficiency in Agile and project management tools such as Azure DevOps.

Nice To Haves

  • SAFE Program Consultant (SPC) certification preferred.
  • Experience leading large and complex projects.
  • Familiarity with software development processes and practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Certification in project management or agile methodologies (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, PMI-ACP).

Responsibilities
