About The Position

Trilogy Innovations is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to support a federal customer in a fully remote capacity. The role contributes to a multi-year effort to modernize large-scale, mission-critical systems that support government operations. The Scrum Master works with a collaborative team to deliver enterprise-level technology solutions and is expected to hold an active Secret Security Clearance. The role leads agile project and product delivery, working with the Product Manager to define product roadmaps and translate them into user stories. The Scrum Master guides collaborative planning, prioritizes work according to team capacity and capability, matrix-manages a multidisciplinary team, and ensures products meet appropriate quality standards for their stage of development. The position also promotes knowledge sharing and agile best practices. Modernization efforts include migrating mainframe functionality to AWS GovCloud; adding name-search capabilities and broader image-file support; transitioning investigative search to Elasticsearch; building containerized microservices on OpenShift; moving database functionality from IBM DB2 to an appropriate cloud data store; and updating NIEM schemas and IEPDs. Success is measured by predictable, high-quality delivery; progress toward modernization and mission goals; effective, accountable teams; timely management of risks and dependencies; stakeholder confidence; stronger Agile practices; cross-team coordination; and compliance-aligned delivery. The work environment is remote, with occasional travel as required.
