We are seeking a highly experienced Scrum Master with strong leadership capabilities and a proven track record coaching Agile teams, driving delivery across complex initiatives, and partnering with stakeholders at all organizational levels. This role combines the servant-leadership focus of a Scrum Master with the coordination, risk management, and program-level oversight typically associated with a Release Train Engineer or a Program Manager. The ideal candidate will excel in team coaching, enterprise-level coordination, strategic alignment, and continuous improvement, enabling multiple teams to deliver value predictably and sustainably.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Project Manager, or Program Manager.
  • Experience operating in scaled Agile environments (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus, or similar).
  • Strong background in coordinating work across multiple Agile teams simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to lead programs with complex dependencies and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Proven experience managing 2 or more Scrum teams at a time.
  • Excellent facilitation, conflict-resolution, and servant-leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to coach individuals and teams at different levels of Agile maturity.
  • Strong influencer with experience engaging executives, managers, and technical leads.
  • Strong experience with PI Planning, ART events, dependency mapping, and value-stream alignment.
  • Strong experience with Azure DevOps.

Nice To Haves

  • SAFe RTE, SPC, or advanced Scrum Master certifications (A-CSM, CSP-SM, PSM II/III).
  • Experience leading Agile transformations or coaching at a portfolio level.
  • Background in enterprise-level delivery within technology, engineering, or product-centric environments.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a servant leader for one or more Agile teams, ensuring adherence to Agile principles, Scrum practices, and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Coach teams on self-organization, collaboration, empirical process control, and cross-functionality.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
  • Mentor Scrum Masters and team leaders across the organization, helping mature Agile practices.
  • Coordinate delivery across multiple Agile teams to ensure alignment with business priorities, shared milestones, and cross-team dependencies.
  • Lead or support Program Increment (PI) planning, Scrum-of-Scrums, ART Syncs, and system demos in scaled Agile environments.
  • Identify, manage, and escalate risks, dependencies, and impediments that affect multiple teams or overall program delivery.
  • Ensure teams operate within a consistent cadence and deliver predictably across increments.
  • Develop and maintain progress tracking dashboards.
  • Partner with Product Owners, Product Management, and stakeholders to ensure alignment between roadmaps, capacity, and team commitments.
  • Oversee delivery execution, ensuring business outcomes, quality standards, and timelines are met.
  • Provide transparent, data-driven reporting to leadership regarding progress, risks, capacity, and performance.
  • Introduce and standardize Agile best practices, metrics, and delivery frameworks.
  • Support adoption of Lean-Agile principles across teams and help evolve the organization’s Agile transformation.
