About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead 2–3 high-performing software engineering teams. You will be responsible for ensuring the chosen framework is understood and enacted. Your goal is to foster a culture of self-management, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience leading Agile teams in a software development environment.
- 6+ years of experience in frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, XP, Lean, and/or Waterfall.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Exceptional conflict resolution, active listening, and the ability to influence without formal authority.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience within the payments and/or financial services domains.
- CSM: Certified ScrumMaster (Scrum Alliance).
- PSM I/II: Professional Scrum Master (Scrum.org).
- PMI-ACP: Agile Certified Practitioner.
- SAFe SM: SAFe Scrum Master (Scaled Agile) for enterprise-level roles.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Proactively identify and eliminate obstacles that slow the team down.
- Guide the team in self-organization and cross-functional collaboration.
- Protect developers from external distractions and scope creep during sprints.
- Assist in backlog refinement and ensuring product goals are clearly understood by the team.
- Creating, tracking, and evaluating information to help the team to improve.
