Scrum Master
About The Position
KODA Technologies is seeking a skilled Scrum Master/Product Owner to define and deliver NexGen Air and Missile Defense Product Solutions. This role operates at the intersection of user research, design, and mission context to ensure the right solutions are built by grounding every product decision in a deep, holistic understanding of real warfighter needs. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical execution and program strategy, driving the suitability of experimental capabilities for implementation into the IBCS program. The Scrum Master will be responsible for prioritizing and validating efforts executed within a PI. The candidate must have a good understanding of engineering practices within Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), user research, and UX/UI design. Communicate with leadership when products are ready to push into the development process. Highly desirable if you have experience leading user-centered design practices to include design of experiments, collection methods, and post-analysis. This position will be 100% on-site at Redstone Arsenal.
Requirements
- Fluent in the Microsoft Office toolset
- Bachelor's degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences or mathematics
- Minimum of 7 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above
- Proficient with the Atlassian toolset (Jira/Confluence) for backlog management and the Microsoft Office toolset for professional deliverables.
- U.S. Citizenship and an active Secret Clearance
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge in IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS.
- Prior Product Owner of a SW development SCRUM team is a plus.
- Experience leading user-centered design practices to include design of experiments, collection methods, and post-analysis.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize user research, studies, and suitability evaluations in coordination with Program Management for PIs and sprints
- Deliver technical briefings and demonstrations to leadership, offering COAs and impact analysis
- Assist with technical roadmap for implementation and integration of efforts based on maturity and suitability of design
- Serve as a bridge between PAE Fires stakeholders, Users, and the experience modernization team
