About The Position

The Scrum Master serves a dedicated Agile team on the program, owning the team's delivery cadence and health. You will facilitate all sprint ceremonies, clear impediments, keep team metrics honest and visible, and help the team make effective use of AI-assisted delivery tools.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be willing to work a HYRBID Schedule (3-4 Days) in Reston, VA & client locations in the Washington D.C. area as required.
• Ability to pass a 7-year background check and obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Clearance
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Must be able to prioritize and self-start.
• Must be adaptable/flexible as priorities shift.
• Must be enthusiastic and have passion for learning and constant improvement.
• Must be open to collaboration, feedback and client asks.
• Must enjoy working with a vibrant team of outgoing personalities.
• CSM or PSM I certification
• 2+ years as a Scrum Master for software delivery teams
• Working knowledge of Jira or equivalent Agile tooling
• Strong facilitation and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• SAFe certification
• Federal project experience
• Familiarity with AI-assisted estimation and reporting tools

Responsibilities

• Facilitate sprint ceremonies: planning, daily stand-ups, reviews/demos, and retrospectives
• Remove impediments and shield the team from disruption; escalate blockers promptly
• Maintain team boards, metrics, and sprint reports, leveraging AI-assisted tooling
• Coordinate with other Scrum Masters on cross-team dependencies and integration points
• Support the Product Owner with backlog refinement and sprint-readiness of stories
• Foster team improvement through actionable retrospectives
• Support release planning and readiness activities
