About The Position

CGI is seeking a Scrum Master / Technical Project Manager to support strategic transformation initiatives within a fast-paced quantitative engineering and technology environment. This role will help drive delivery across multiple workstreams focused on Model Performance Monitoring, ML Ops, and Microservices Orchestration in a cloud-first ecosystem heavily leveraging AWS technologies. We partner with 15 of the top 20 banks globally, and our top 10 banking clients have worked with us for an average of 26 years!. This role is located at a client site in Reston, VA. A hybrid working model is acceptable.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Scrum Master, Project Management, or Agile delivery roles
  • Strong experience serving as a Scrum Master and/or Technical Project Manager within agile delivery environments
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban, with the ability to adapt practices based on team needs
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional technology initiatives involving engineering, product, and business stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage project timelines, risks, dependencies, and executive-level status reporting
  • Familiarity with cloud-native environments, particularly AWS-based platforms and modern engineering practices
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or similar project management and collaboration tools
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to drive alignment across multiple teams
  • Understanding of governance, compliance, and risk management processes within financial services or regulated industries
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-moving, delivery-focused environments with competing priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to ML Ops, model monitoring, microservices, or enterprise transformation initiatives is highly preferred
  • Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or PMP certification are preferred
