V2X is seeking a Scrum Master Software Engineer to join our Engineering team in Indianapolis, IN as a Scrum Master supporting development and integration of advanced systems including situational awareness displays, mission computers, avionics, sensors, mission equipment, and radar systems. Most of our programs involve hardware in the loop where our software is integrated and tested with the hardware in a lab and then in the field. Our Indianapolis facility also supports a variety of other product lines serving multiple Department of Defense (DoD) customers, providing the opportunity to work on a diverse set of programs supporting the continued advancement of your career.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field.
  • 2-5 years related experience in a Software Development environment or other related engineering experience.
  • Minimum 2 years experience working in a Scrum environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a proven ability to mentor and coach teams and individuals.
  • A strong ability to self-organize and manage time and priorities effectively.
  • Relevant experience or familiarity with common development and infrastructure technologies such as C/C++/C#, Java, Python, networking, Linux, and Virtual Machines
  • Ability to access systems with information restricted to U.S. citizens as required by federal contract guidelines.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance may be required for certain projects.

Nice To Haves

  • Holds a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
  • Familiarity with one or more Agile techniques beyond basic Scrum, such as LeSS, Kanban, or eXtreme Programming (XP).
  • Experience with DevSecOps practices.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar environment
  • Familiarity with build pipelines and Automated Testing Frameworks.
