Responsibilities

Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports, conduct risk analysis and monitor the progress of plans against project milestones and budgets.
Provide technical and analytical guidance to the project team.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and review of project deliverables.
Analyze and document requirements by liaising with a range of users in the organization.
Manage the integration of vendor tasks and track/review vendor deliverables.
Continually strive to keep the team motivated and take ownership of the project and productivity.
Work with functional managers to remove impediments that hinder project progress and develop corrective action plans.
Promote continuous communication while coaching the teams to ensure deliverables and efficiencies are in line for the overall successful delivery of all projects and work efforts.
Motivate teams and measure work the teams are producing through a variety of metrics, as well as identify trends used to improve team’s velocity and throughput. Lead teams, including recognition/rewards, and as needed difficult conversations with team members who may need direct support and coaching (escalating where appropriate).
Facilitate project initiation (with Product Owner / Management Teams) and standard team meetings and management retrospectives to build high performing teams and ensure team’s success.
Vendor management including managing off shore teams and multiple vendors on a single implementation.
