About The Position

At Accenture Federal Services, the Scrum Master / BA role combines project management with guiding the development team’s use of Agile and Scrum practices. The role collaborates with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables; develops project plans; manages resources, budgets, risks, and changes; and monitors project performance and quality. It also facilitates Scrum ceremonies, coaches the team, removes impediments, and supports effective collaboration and self-organization. The position requires US citizenship and an active TS/SCI CI clearance, experience with in-house custom-developed data pipelines, and proficiency across cloud infrastructure, UI development, and ETL and data-processing technologies.

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen with an active TS/SCI CI experience (as stated in the posting).
• Experience with in-house custom-developed data pipelines.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, JFrog Artifactory, and AWS Cloud Services.
• UI development skills with Vue.js, Flask, Elixir, Phoenix LiveView, and Daisy UI.
• ETL experience with Python, Cribl, Apache Nifi, Postgres, Apache Kafka, Splunk, and custom GOTS applications.
• Expertise in complex data parsing, streamlined ingestion, and schema-aligned data normalization.
• Strong track record of tracking provenance and ensuring end-to-end data lineage.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables with stakeholders.
• Develop project plans covering timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Track project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
• Manage stakeholders, incorporate their input, and work to meet their expectations.
• Coordinate and facilitate project planning sessions, status updates, reviews, and other meetings.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and accessible project documentation.
• Manage project changes and obtain appropriate approvals.
• Track and report project performance metrics.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
• Facilitate time-boxed Scrum events, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
• Coach and mentor the development team on Scrum principles, practices, and values.
• Remove impediments and roadblocks to team progress.
• Protect the team from external distractions and interruptions.
• Foster a self-organizing, cross-functional team environment.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration within the team and with stakeholders.
