About The Position
Community Hospital is seeking a Certified Scrub Tech to join their team at the Community Hospital/Surgery location. This is a full-time position with an application deadline of May 31, 2026. The role involves preparing the operating room, assisting during surgery, preparing patients, maintaining sterility, cleaning and restocking the operating room, performing surgical counts, and operating surgical equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Required
- Current and unrestricted Colorado state licensure as a CST
- Current BLS

- One (1) year of related experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare the Operating Room
- Assist During Surgery
- Prepare patients for surgery by cleansing and disinfecting incision sites.
- Assist with patient positioning and draping to maintain sterility.
- Help clean and restock the operating room after surgery.
- Maintain accurate surgical counts of sponges, needles, and instruments to prevent retained surgical items.
- Operate and maintain surgical equipment, such as lights, suction machines, and sterilization tools.
