Individual will run Acme and Davenport screw machines. Requirements
- 1-3 years of Screw Machine experience
- Relevant work experience; maintenance, mechanic, automotive mechanic, or trade school completion
- Mechanically inclined – Individual needs to be good with tools and machinery and can adapt quickly to fixings things both familiar and unfamiliar.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for operation of screw machines; including, loading bar stock, filling fluids, and removing chips from machine.
- Responsible for performing setup on screw machines; including, tooling changes, tool sharpening, and tool adjustments to ensure continued conformance to specifications.
- Responsible for conformance with quality specifications.
- Ability to assist other operators in performing tool changes, trouble shooting, and maintenance activities.
- Ability to assist in training others on operation and setup of screw machines.
