About The Position

AdvancedPCB is hiring a reliable, motivated Soldermask (Screener) to process printed circuit board panels through soldermask, preparation, legend, and other screening processes according to travelers, directions from managers, and department standard operating procedures. The role calls for working effectively in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency. This is a full-time second-shift position, Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Weekend overtime may be mandatory when needed to meet production goals; shifts may include weekends when schedule details are provided in advance. The California pay range is $19.00–$24.00 per hour, depending on experience and other candidate-specific factors. The position requires access to controlled technical data or participation in activities subject to ITAR. Applicants must be U.S. persons as defined by ITAR: U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or individuals with refugee or asylee status.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of experience in screening for a PCB manufacturing company.
Ability to stand and walk for more than eight hours per day.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and stand or walk throughout the day.
Must be a U.S. person under ITAR eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

Review travelers for due dates, material type, and special priority requests before beginning screening.
Complete screening tasks promptly and document work in a timely manner.
Set up, operate, and tear down the DP1500 automatic soldermask coating machine to process PCB panels.
Manually screen legend, soldermask, peel-able soldermask, and carbon ink on the screening table.
Assist the department in achieving zero scrap per month.
Perform weekly preventative maintenance on machines.
Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Inform managers of potential problems.
Perform other duties as assigned.
