About The Position

Reliable student with strong music preparation skills required to assist with copying and librarian tasks for FS-440 Advanced Orchestration, the Berklee Silent Film Orchestra class, and other Film Scoring Department duties as assigned. This position requires the ability to work from 11:00-2:00pm every Monday in the Fall semester. The hours are, generally, flexible but most often occur on Sundays due to scoring sessions the following Monday. The position lasts Fall and Spring.

Requirements

  • Current student at Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee.
  • Enrolled at least half-time in a degree, diploma, or certificate-seeking undergraduate or graduate program (or pre-registered for the upcoming fall semester if only working in the summer).
  • Have a valid United States Social Security Number (SSN).
  • Remain in “valid” Visa status as applicable.
  • A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA (first-semester students are exempt).
  • Federal Work Study student may apply.
  • In good disciplinary standing.
  • Must be located in the U.S.
  • Strong organization and communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of Film Scoring curricula through 6th semester courses.

Responsibilities
