About The Position

Vishay Barry is seeking a Screen Room Operator to perform thick film processing and produce passive electronic component arrays. The role offers an opportunity to build manufacturing skills while working on a unique product line. The position is on-site at Vishay Barry's 40,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Attleboro, Massachusetts, which has approximately 70 employees. First- and second-shift positions are available, with pay of $22–$24 per hour. Applicants must qualify as a U.S. Person under applicable U.S. federal export-control regulations.

Requirements

• High school education and technical understanding.
• At least 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience with microscopes, hand tools, chemicals and inks, and process equipment.
• Experience with prints and specifications, and using a computer to log work and timesheets.
• Ability to learn new products quickly, work independently, and remain highly motivated.
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person as defined by applicable U.S. federal export-control regulations.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of screen-printing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use substrate drawings and screen printers to measure scope for critical dimensions.
• Handle chemicals and inks.
• Create work logs and update timesheets.
• Follow written instructions and required safety rules to complete work accurately.
• Perform setup, alignments, printing, firing, electrical tests, and breakdown.
