About The Position

We work with businesses and organizations of all kinds to provide them with personalized promotional products. As a screen room floater, you will be making our customer’s artwork come alive by mixing Pantone Matching System (PMS) inks and producing quality screen printing screens to be used in production.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (4imprint will work with you on your journey to earning this equivalency, within your first 1 year of employment).
  • Basic familiarity with computers.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Ability to adapt to a swiftly changing work environment.
  • Detail oriented with a professional attitude.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with others (verbally and in writing).
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and maintain work authorization throughout the employment term.
  • Pass a pre-work screen to ensure ability to perform duties safely.
  • Pass a drug test for Marijuana (THC), Cocaine Metabolites, Phencyclidine, Amphetamines (Class), Opiate Metabolites.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the eight core principles that guide every 4imprint teammate on a daily basis: Honesty, Curiosity, Collaboration, Flexibility, Accountability, Empathy, Positive Attitude, and Humility.
  • Effectively interpret work orders and job aids to ensure accurate execution of job responsibilities.
  • Mixing Oeko-Tex certified inks to run a high-quality product on our screen printing machines.
  • Utilize computerized mixing system to accurately mix ink to customer PMS specifications.
  • Operate turnabout mixing table to thoroughly mix the various ink colors.
  • Organize and categorize ink inventory in the ‘ink library’ to ensure quick location and efficient work flows.
  • Collect squeegees, load, run, and unload squeegee cleaning machine to clean squeegees.
  • Redistribute clean squeegees per press requirements.
  • Maintain squeegee machine for optimum performance.
  • Reclaim screens after use by removing ink and emulsion.
  • Coat screens with emulsion and prepare them for exposure.
  • Form emulsion in screens according to artwork and production specifications.
  • Inspect screens for quality and readiness prior to production.
  • Maintain a clean work environment.
  • Step in and support any of the above areas when team members are out.
  • Comply with safety procedures, rules and regulations.
  • Keep an organized workflow for smooth and consistent output.
  • Participate in training classes and actively seek professional development.
  • Help out in other areas when needed and when time allows.
