About The Position

Fabricates and assembles metal screens by performing the following duties. This is a temporary position with a pay of $17 per hour. The role involves laying out and marking reference points onto screen material, fitting and assembling components using machines like arbor presses, riveting press, brazing machine, and resistance welding machines, and welding components together. The employee must follow all company policies, including attendance and safety, and demonstrate safe work practices. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred or combination of education and experience
• 1-2 years previous experience in a manufacturing setting
• Must have solid understanding of basic math
• Able to read blue prints and tape measure
• Must be able to work assigned shift with overtime as needed
• Must be able to comply with all safety guidelines and regulations

Nice To Haves

• previous experience with welding or cutting preferred
• Knowledge of spot welding helpful as well

Responsibilities

• Lays out and marks reference points onto screen material (perforated and/or mesh material).
• Fits and assembles components by operating machines such as arbor presses, riveting press, brazing machine, and resistance welding machines to complete assembly.
• Welds components together.
• Follows all company policies including attendance and safety.
• Demonstrates safe work practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
