As the Montclair State University Ice Arena's Scoreboard Operator, you will assist in the execution of the all games by operating scoreboards and tracking minutes played.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Basic reading and writing skills are required
- Must have an understanding of basic mathematical functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- General knowledge of the sports industry
- Ability to resolve conflicts in a professional, tactful manner
Nice To Haves
- Experience operating a scoreboard preferred
Responsibilities
- Assure all players are checked in and present on official score sheets
- Track all relevant statistics on the scoreboard during games
- Track minutes played for all players using assigned sheets
- Assist in game preparations/clean up as needed
- Work closely with League team members to ensure member satisfaction
- Complete any other special projects and daily assignments as directed by the General Manager
