About The Position

This role supports Supply Chain Management by advancing both production operations and strategic transformation initiatives within supplier information management. The Analyst is responsible for ensuring the integrity, completeness, and effectiveness of supplier data while driving continuous improvement across the procure-to-pay lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in supply chain, accounts payable, and / or supporting supplier management activities
  • Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives or projects
  • Experience facilitating communications among team and stakeholders
  • Experience with systems such as Maximo, Oracle, and Smart by GEP
  • Experience developing or supporting metrics, reporting, or performance tracking
  • Experience identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Ability to analyze data trends, identify root causes, and recommend actionable improvements
  • Ability to identify improvement opportunities and contribute to implementation of solutions
  • Understanding of process standardization and ability to document and implement operational standards
  • Ability to support development and monitoring of controls within business processes
  • Ability to design and deliver process-related training programs to educate direct team and related stakeholders
  • Ability to promptly respond to stakeholder feedback and resolve issues, propose improvements, and deliver a better stakeholder experience
  • Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation skills to effectively communicate with employees, industry peers, and suppliers
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and demonstrate effective project management skills including planning, organizing, and directing
  • Computer-skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Power BI, etc.) as well as the ability to quickly learn vendor software applications used by Supply Chain Management (e.g., Maximo, Smart by GEP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Proficiency in SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, MS Project, and / or other project management related applications
  • Able to partner with stakeholders in Supply Chain and across the business to find win-win solutions

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain the supplier database including the progression of suppliers through the lifecycle stages and related information for each stage of the supplier lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with SCM functions, accounts payable, and business stakeholders to evaluate and process supplier lifecycle stage transitions including information collection and proactive issue resolution.
  • Develop and maintain process and training documents for the team and relevant stakeholders to ensure consistent expectations and practices.
  • Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships within SCM, across peer functions, and through relevant business stakeholders. This may include supporting enterprise efforts related to supplier lifecycle information (e.g., Source to Pay, Vendor Security Incident Working Group).
  • Develop and maintain metrics, analyze performance trends, and provide insight to support operational decisions.
  • Support resolution of requests by analyzing root causes and identifying improvement opportunities for customer experience and value delivered.
  • Support and contribute to specific projects and efforts to improve supplier information. These activities typically require project management-level coordination to identify stakeholders, establish objectives, manage overall schedule, and communicate progress and results.
