About The Position

Eurofins BPT-Columbia is seeking a Scientist to join its Stability and Batch Release team in Columbia, Missouri. This entry-level professional role involves somewhat complex day-to-day laboratory activities performed under prescribed processes, including protocols, standard operating procedures, and methods. The position supports research and development work conducted under CGMP and/or GLP guidelines, including studies and related documentation. The Scientist assists with conducting, monitoring, and reporting studies to ensure data accuracy and report quality, performs analytical work on projects and studies using a range of techniques and instruments, and works with increasing independence on studies and assignments.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as chemistry, biochemistry, biology, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or another directly related field; alternatively, a degree with comparable coursework in these areas.
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
Familiarity with and/or experience in a laboratory setting.
Good organizational skills.
Ability to follow direction.
Good communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with GLP and/or GMP.
Hands-on experience with HPLC and/or GC.
Experience with a LIMS system.

Responsibilities
